Oh, Romeo! Oh,Romeo!

On the Language class we saw the play Oh,Romeo!Oh,Romeo!,a play made by teachers from the Newlands school. And we made an essay of it.

Oh, Romeo! Oh, Romeo!, by Silvia Videla and Alejandra Muslera. In this essay will be develop the things we did like and the things we think that were dificult.

What we like the most was how some plays by Shakespeare are mixed, these plays were: Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, the tempest and Macbeth. This makes the play original. Apart from that, we get to know the most powerful secenes of Shakespeare's plays. In addition, we love how they were dress because it makes the play look real, since it was the typical clothing that people use in that time. Another thing that impress us is that the chorus appears in the play singing without voiceover, while the actors were performing , that gives the play a shakespeare touch.

One of the most dificult parts that were done on the play was when the chorus appears singing at the same time actors were performing. Another thing that for us was difficult was how they organise, because it must be hard to get all together at the same time. What is more, it must be difficult to find a place that matches with the time of the real plays. Furthermore, it must be hard to mix the different plays because it is difficult to choose only one scene of each play from Shakespeare.

In our opinion, we love the play and it was very well done, and the pronunciation of the characters was very understandable.

1968 Balcony. One of the most powerful and romantic
scenes in the play, when Romeo and Juliet were in
the balcony looking each other in a very romatic way
and speaking about one another separate.

Some of The plays that were included in The play Oh,Romeo!Oh,Romeo!, were Macbeth,Hamlet,Romeo and Juliet.
