AN ESSAY ON THE DOOR IN THE WALL

                                                             An essey on the Door in the Wall

In the door in the wall by H.G Wells,a boy called Wallace entered to a door and discovered a beautiful garden.When he told his father that he found that, the father did not believe him.He always tried to get into that door again but he never could.The years passed by and he found again the door but when he found it, he was occupied.One day he saw the door and he entered ,when he entered hr died.The author showed that the boy did not know what was real and what he was imagining.

 
   In the book, Wallace entered to the door and found a garden,many children playing and a woman with a book.The woman read the book to Wallace,the book had all Wallace's life.When Wallace was in the garden, he felt happy and like in the paradise.The garden represented the childhood he wanted but he never had.When he told his father that he had  entered to the garden,his father took all his fantasy books.Apart from that, the children in the school bothered and bullied him.


  Walllace tried to find the door again.He found it sometimes but he always had to go to work or had something to do,or he was in a hurry.He thought that from that day he went out of the door and did not enter again,he did not have more problems.But he also wanted to find the door,because in there he felt happy and like in paradise.


   At the end of the story,The Door in the Wall,Wallace was walking and he located the door, it was his opportunity to get in and he did it.When he entered through the door he died.
He died because he got through the door and the door was from a construction, the builders put the door to let the people go to their houses.
One possibility could be that as he was walking at night,he confused the colours and he thought that was the door he had entered when he was young.The other possibility is that he wanted to die so he went to the construction.


     In the dooor in the wall, the author showed that the boy did not know what was real and what he was imagining.Reading this story, i realized that the boy had a mental problem, because he imagined things and that he needed help.I think that if the father believed in him and left the boy think whatever he wont, it would  have been better.

KATE ´S LAST DAY!!!

  Kate´s last day !!

It was a rainy day and Kate was with her father Tim,her brother Toby and her mother Sophy.Kate was bigger than Toby so her perents paid more attention to Toby.Kate was always alone and sad.

  One day Sophy and Tim were playing with Toby, and Kate was alone in the sofa.She saw her perents and said to herself.   "I´m alone".She took courage and told her perents that they never paid attention to her,that she felt alone,but her perents didn´t listen to her and continued playing with Toby.Later she escaped,she picked up her things and she went out.

  At night she didn´t know where she could sleep,so she started walking and in a little place she fell asleep.In the morning she got up and she didn´t know where she was, she was in a dark place. A man came next to her and told her that she had been kidnapped. She started crying and shouting, the man told Kate to stop shouting. The man went away for a minute and she started running. Meanwhile, Tim and Sophy were looking for Kate and they were very sad. Sophy was desesperated, she started calling the police and Tim was in the streets looking for Kate and asking people if they had seen her. A man there told Tim that he saw her in the mall stealing and that she was very happy and then the man went away, he was lying because he was the Kidnapper. Tim was so sad that her little girl did that, so he went to the mall and asked if a girl had stolen to day there and the man told Tim that nobody had stolen the mall today. Tim was confused and went to his house and told Sophy what happened. Sophy was also confused and they started calling the police, but the police said that they didn´t know anything about Kate. While Kate was alone in the street she didn´t know where she was.

    A week passed by and nobody knew anything about Kate. Sophy was so sad, that she didn´t get up of her bed, for the only thing she got up was to go to the toilet and she always watched Tv with the hope that someone said something about Kate. Tim went every day to the street to see if he could fined Kate. Kate was in a little street without exit and a morning she went to walk and a car killed her. Sophy was watching Tv and a reporter said that a little girl had died because a car killed her. Sophy started shouting and called Tim, he came immediately with Toby. They were all crying.

  A year passed by and all the family was happy, they did like nothing had happened. But Sophy inside was sad because she never listened to Kate when she told her something but she tried to pretend that nothing had happened. And Toby never realized that he had a sister and that she died.

Pied Beauty

Oh this is a beautiful place there are brinded cows, I love them with all those spots, when I see them I feel inspired, I´m hungry oh a landscape ploughed by tractors, that is amaizing I will write it in my poem. WI see all those things I feel dissapointed because people dont´t take care of what god has given to them. Oh I think it will rain that is not good I will go to that gallery to avoid getting wet. Oh a drawing is fantastic, there is an umberella, I will use it to go outside...oh a dog spots, it is beautiful. Well I will go out. I love this place because it is amaizing being here with all those pied things. It is beautiful. Oh I know how to call my poem... "Pied Beauty". That name is great! How  did that name come to my mind? well I think I will go away because that girl is looking at me badly and she had freckles. That is lovely, well I will go home because tomorrow I have to go to my house and write my great and fantastic poem called Pied Beauty because I love very much dappled things and the freckles of the people. I think that this poem will be the best poem I had write in my life. Yeah I am the best in the world yeah. Well I will go because people have started to say bad comments about me and thought that I am crazy.

La vida de Jimmy

Había una pequeña célula llamada Jimmy. Su cuerpo tenia forma de gota,sus pies eran chiquitos,tenia un solo ojo y su cuerpo estaba lleno de puntitos negros.Esta célula nace en el agua y al nacer el agua lo empuja hasta una isla,y eso le paso a Jimmy.

Cuando Jimmy llego a la isla vio que no había nadie y empezó a gritar hay alguien acá pero nadie le respondió. Jimmy pensó que era mejor y empezó a correr por toda la isla.La isla era muy grande y tenia muchos arboles con ricas frutas. Jimmy al ver tantas frutas pensó que era el paraíso.

Jimmy se divertía mucho en la isla,comía mucho,nadaba mucho,pero lo que mas le gustaba era dormir bajo las estrellas,mientras escuchaba el ruido de las olas golpeando las piedras.Cuando el se despertaba de una larga noche,le gustaba comer unas buenas frutas.

Al pasar los días Jimmy se daba cuenta de que estaba solo y que no tenia amigos.Entonces con las ramitas y hojas que encontraba se hizo un amigo,pero a el no le divertía tanto porque el muñeco de hojas y ramitas no se movía,ni hablaba entonces lo destruyo e hizo uno nuevo pero a este le puso maderas con forma redonda que hizo con un cuchillo que encontró,pero de vuelta no le gusto y lo destruyo. Después pensó que podía hacer una balsa para poder salir de la isla,y la empezó a construir.

Cuando termino de construirla la puso en el agua y salio.paso días y días hasta que llego aun lugar donde había muchas células como el.El les dijo quien era,de donde venia y lo que hizo para llegar ahí.Al pasar de los días el se dio cuenta de que había hecho muchos amigos y que no se quería ir mas de esa isla.

My granfather Franco

My granfather  is Gian Franco Cogliati  and he born in Italy in the city of Albona d` istria that actuali is Croacia. He was born the 21 of decembe 1933.
He come to Argentina in april 1954 when he have 21 years. He come to visit his sister , and then he meet my grandma Elena.

The name of his mather was Maria Windich and his father Ernesto Cogliati. He have 2 sisters called Aida and Ina and 1 brother called Renato.

One important event before coming was the 2 world war and important event after coming was that  a robber enter to his house and shoot his leg, but he have leg.
He love eating vegetables and fish. He also love Italian music.
Now a days he have 2 daughters call Alejandra and Claudia,3 granddaughters call Candela,Micaela and Naiara, and his wife Elena.

Visita al Museo y Catedral de La Plata

Con las profesoras de Prácticas del lenguaje, Biología y Arte fuimos a visitar el Museo de Ciencias Naturales y a la Catedral de La Plata.
Del Museo me llamó la atención el tamaño de los huesos de los dinosaurios y las ballenas.
Y la parte del Museo que más me gustó fue la de las momias, porque aunque  el tiempo pasó  sus dientes estaban blancos, como nuevos. La parte que menos me gustó fue el sector de las serpientes, porque no me gustan. Me pareció muy grande y me gustaron los vidrios pintados.
La Catedral me gustó mucho, es muy grande, tiene lindos vidrios pintados.  Me habria gustado poder bajar al subsuelo para ver que había.

   Dear diary,
                             Today was not a great day! the British army entered to India and killed many people.
My father, that is in the army, told me and my mother to stay at home. At 8:00 he came and told me that
everything was okey. My day was not a good day. I think tomorrow will be Better than today.

   Dear diary,
                          Today my mother told me the importance of language, religion and how we should
treat the books.
I understood very well. And one second after that, a bomb exploded next to my house and a family died.
My father told me that we had to go to another place. But my mother said that we couldn´t go because
we don´t have any place to go. And my father told her to stay here, that he would go to look for a
refuge to stay in. My mother said yes and he went out. Now we are going to eat soup whit my mother because my father hasn´t come yet.
This was my day today.

June 11, 1967

Today  is not a good day. I stayed all my day waiting for my father and he didn´t come. My mother
told me that my father was okey, that nothing happened to him. And at 4:00 P.M. a friend of my father
came and told me and my mother that my father was dead. I cried a lot and the man told us what happened and he took us to another house where we could be alive. Now we are in this house and we are very well.
And this was my day today. Today was not a good day. I hope tomorrow will be a better day.

JIMMY:

Es un animal unicelular,encontrada en Alemania,hace unos 30 años.

descripción:

Esta especie es peluda, gorda, su color de pelaje es gris, no suelen medir mucho,solo miden unos 30 cm, su forma parece una gota de lluvia.

Este animal unicelular no viven mucho,solo de 3 a 4 años. Su forma de desplazamiento es flotando en ambientes acuaticos.

¿Que comen estos animales?  ¿y como nacen ? 

Esta especie se alimenta de hojas, pájaros, gusanos e insectos.

Estos animales unicelulares nacen de huevos debajo del agua.

Que realizan:(detalles).

Estos animales unicelulares no tiene muchas funciones, solo comen, duermen al rededor de 18 horas al día y se reproducen. Absorben los restos de agua de lluvia que quedan dispersos en el suelo y de esa manera aumentan su tamaño.

DONDE HABITAN ?

Estos animales unicelulares habitan en Alemania, Europa y América. Sólo habitan en lugares cálidos y húmedos, ya que al contacto con el frio, mueren al instante. No habitan en un lugar determinado, sino que se desplazan de un lugar a otro.

Al colocar estos organismos en los tubos

de ensayo, las mismas cambian de color y toman la forma del envase que las contiene.

LOS NIÑOS DEL HOMBRE

 La película nos muestra que probablemente no exista un futuro, donde el mundo es un caos y se esta destruyendo,  sin la esperanza de que puedan nacer más bebés, pues la población se va reduciendo.

El mundo esta siendo arrasado por guerras, contaminaciones, suicidios en masa, las mujeres no pueden tener hijos, las naciones y ciudades más importantes estan en desorden o han caído, Gran Bretaña tiene un gobierno autoritario que persigue a todos los inmigrantes y los recluye en los guetos , los gobiernos reparten medicamentos para que la gente se pueda suicidar sin dolor y han asesinado al hombre más joven del mundo. Pero por otro lado nos muestra la esperanza de un nuevo mundo cuando Kee es rescatada y logra tener a su bebé y es llevada junto a él a un barco donde comenzarán una nueva vida...

Un Gueto es una zona separada o aislada donde se recluían, en forma voluntaria o involuntaria, personas de un determinado origen religioso, cultural o étnico. Se utilizó por primera vez en la Edad Media, donde los judíos eran obligados a vivir aislados en estos lugares. Luego volvieron a aparecer durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, donde los Alemanes obligaron a vivir a la población Judía en condiciones miserables.

El término " Ghetto" proviene del nombre del barrio Judío de Venecia, establecido en 1516.

El Gueto más importante fue el de Varsovia, ubicado en el centro de Polonia, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial , los Alemanes la ocuparon, al igual que al resto del país, y fue el lugar elegido para el Gueto principal.  inaugurado el 16 de octubre de 1940 y estaba aislado del resto de la comunidad por un cerco de puas y más tarde por un muro de tres metros de altura, que tenia un recorrido total de 18 Kilómetros.

La mayoría de los Guetos estaban ubicados en Europa Oriental, ocupada por los Nazis y duraron poco tiempo. Eran Sucios, no tenian mucho alimento, eran frios y eso provocaba epidemias y muertes.

La película me pareció muy interesante, un poco aburrida por momentos, fuerte, por que asesinaban a los inmigrantes, el niño más joven tenía 18 años y fue asesinado, el mundo era destruido y por otro lado me pareció muy tierno el nacimiento del bebé y la alegría de que pudieron ser salvados, él y su mamá para poder iniciar un mundo nuevo.

La Isla Desierta y el Camino Dorado

" La Isla Desierta y  el Camino Dorado"

En ambos casos los empleados  se encuentran desconformes, aburridos y deprimidos con su trabajo y desean tener una vida mejor. En " La Isla Desierta" su distracción es una ventana donde se ve el sol y se escuchan  los ruidos molestos de los buques del Puerto de Buenos Aires que tocan sus bocinas todo el dia y uno de los empleados ( Cipriano) saca provecho de esta situación y comienza a inventar historias para distraer a los demás. En el video

de " El Camino Dorado" el empleado esta cansado por la presión de su jefe e imagina una situación ideal con una chica.  Ambos deseaban estar en otro lugar y no en sus trabajos.

 Una diferencia seria que en el primer caso, los empleados deseaban y soñaban con viajar en esos buques por el mundo ya que nunca lo habían echo y en el segundo caso, el  hombre deseaba disfrutar de la vida y de su amor, a la cual imaginaba en todas las actividades que realizaba. Otra diferencia seria que en el primer caso los empleados son despedidos, al llegar el jefe y ver la situación descontrolada de la oficina, los empleados son convencidos por Cipriano de ir a  recorrer el mundo en esos buques.  En el segundo caso el hombre desaparece, dejando su ropa en la silla y regresa al lugar de sus sueños.

Se pueden asociar tanto al personaje del video clip con Manuel como a ambos jefes entre si.

El equivalente al personaje del videoclip  seria Manuel en " La Isla Desierta", los jefes serian iguales en ambos casos, y los trabajadores que están con Manuel son como los empleados que acompañan al personaje del videoclip. En cuanto a Cipriano, lo compararía con la chica que aparece en el video, quienes terminan de una forma u otra convenciendo a los personajes a dejar sus trabajos y retirarse al lugar donde quisieran estar.

La relación entre el texto leído en clase y la letra de la canción es que las personas sentían que su trabajo era como estar en el infierno y deseaban salir de el. el diablo serian los jefes de ambos personajes. y la metáfora de la canción que dice " las Montañas de plata se levantan arriba de las nubes", seria como alcanzar la libertad, en este caso abandonar sus trabajos para ir al lugar soñado.

" El camino Dorado" es nombrado en la película " El Mago de Oz" cuando la bruja buena del norte, llamada Glinda le aconseja a Dorothy que para regresar a su casa debe seguir el camino de las baldosas doradas.

HíBRIDOS, FóSILES Y ESPECIES

¿ QUE ES UN HíBRIDO, UN FóSIL Y UNA ESPECIE?

HíBRIDO

Un híbrido surge de la unión de dos animales o plantas de razas o especies diferentes. Son extraños y curiosos, y suelen nacer por la acción del hombre.

este híbrido es la unión de una cebra y una burra. 

FóSIL

Los  fósiles son evidencia de vida antigua que ha quedado preservada dentro de las rocas sedimentarias.

ESPECIE

 

Los osos pandas son una especie reconocida a nivel mundial, posiblemente debido a que están en peligro de extinción.El oso panda es un animal tímido y pacífico. Tiene su origen en China y fue descubierto hacia el año 1869. CONCLUCIóN De acuerdo a lo visto en clase, un fósil, una especie y un híbrido se relacionan por medio de la evolución, pues todos son  o fueron seres vivos que evolucionaron, se desarrollaron con una transformación gradual, descendiendo de organismos más simples y  modificaciones. Las especies surgen de otras ya existentes.
